SwipeHealthy is a dating app for verified healthcare professionals: physicians, medical students, nurses, PAs and others who work call, nights and long training years.
Why I built SwipeHealthy
I am a medical student, and a systems engineer by background. I bought the SwipeHealthy domain in my first term and started building, then school took over and I put it down for a while.
In basic sciences I watched couples who were each other's person, study buddy and partner, all working toward the same goal. I also watched relationships suffer under the schedule, and friends who found it hard to date at all as training got heavier. After I got married and saw my friends struggling, I decided it was time to bring this back.
Verification is the part I care about most. You should not have to hand an ID to an anonymous company, so my name is on this. If you upload an ID photo, it stays private, only a small admin team can see it, and it is deleted when you are approved. If something is not working or feels wrong, write to [email protected] and a person will read it.

What we do
Everyone on SwipeHealthy is verified before they can swipe. Practicing clinicians are checked against the CMS NPPES registry by NPI number. Students and staff verify with a one-time code sent to their school or hospital email, and everyone else is reviewed by our team.
Who runs it
SwipeHealthy is a division of FonSwitch Inc, a U.S. company. Joining is free. Plus and Premium plans are optional, and paid plans never change who can see you or how you are verified.
