Terms of Service

By creating an account or using SwipeHealthy you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. You may not use SwipeHealthy if you have been banned from it, or if you are prohibited from using it by law.

2. Your account

• Provide accurate information, including your name, age, photos, and professional or student status.
• Keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone or misrepresent your credentials.

3. Verification

We may verify membership using school or organization email addresses, NPI information, or other methods. Verification is a convenience, not a guarantee of any member's identity, character, or credentials. Use your own judgment when meeting people.

4. Conduct

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. In particular, you will not harass, threaten, or discriminate against others; post unlawful, sexually explicit, or non-consensual content; solicit money or sell goods or services; use the service for commercial or professional solicitation; scrape or copy member data; or attempt to access accounts or systems that are not yours. Never share patient information or any protected health information on SwipeHealthy.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, text, and messages you post. You give SwipeHealthy a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the service. You confirm you have the rights to what you post.

6. Safety and meeting in person

SwipeHealthy does not conduct criminal background checks and is not responsible for the conduct of members, online or offline. Take sensible precautions when meeting someone: meet in public, tell a friend, and trust your instincts. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

7. Reports, suspension and termination

You can block or report any member. We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put others at risk. You can delete your account at any time from your profile screen.

8. Paid features

Joining SwipeHealthy is free. We also offer paid memberships (currently Plus and Premium) with extra features, such as higher daily limits and no sponsored placements. The current plans and prices are on our pricing page, and the price and billing period are shown again before you pay.

• Automatic renewal. Paid memberships renew automatically each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price until you cancel. Payment is taken in advance by our payment provider, Stripe.
• Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from the Membership page or the billing portal it links to. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and then returns to the free plan. We do not charge you again after you cancel.
• Refunds. Except where the law gives you a right to a refund, or we tell you otherwise at purchase, payments for a period that has already started are not refunded. If you were charged by mistake, contact us and we will put it right.
• Price changes and taxes. If we change the price of a plan we will tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then. Prices may be shown before tax, and where tax applies it is added at checkout.
• Apple and Google. If you buy through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that purchase, its renewal and any refund are handled by Apple or Google under their terms, not ours.
• Misuse. A paid plan does not change who can see you or how you are verified, and we may end a membership without refund if the account is closed for breaking these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that you will find a match or a relationship, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. SwipeHealthy does not provide medical advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SwipeHealthy and its owners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for the actions of other members. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and you may have consumer rights in your country that these Terms do not remove.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app or by email, and continued use after the change means you accept it. Questions: [email protected].
